Greetings!
It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the President of the Laurens Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
For over 40 years, our chapter has been committed to making a meaningful difference throughout Laurens County and our surrounding communities. Though we are a small chapter, our impact is mighty as our work is deeply rooted in Delta Sigma Theta’s Five Point Programmatic Thrust:
Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness & Involvement, Political Awareness & Involvement, and Physical & Mental Health.
In alignment with our Sorority’s national mission statement, our chapter’s vision statement for the 2025-2027 biennium is “To cultivate a sororal union of women committed to scholarship, social action, and service – grounded in accountability, driven by responsibility, and strengthened through mutual respect.”
PILLAR 1 | ACCOUNTABILITY
We will exceed all expectations set forth by our illustrious Founders.
PILLAR 2 | RESPONSIBILITY
We are our sister’s keeper. At all times.
PILLAR 3 | RESPECT
Respect is one of the greatest expressions of love.
Our chapter’s vision statement embodies our commitment to our beloved Sisterhood while we strive to empower and inspire the communities in which we live and serve.
We welcome you to explore our website and follow us on social media. Most of all we encourage you to reach out to us if you identify a need in which can assist.
Yours In Delta,
Adrienne M. White
